Vieste , well-known as the main tourist landing place of eastern Gargano, can be considered one of the most fascinating sea resorts in Italy.

Experiencing the same contrasts that characterize the whole Gargano, Vieste opposes a fierce and imposing rock face with the old town on it, to beautiful sandy beaches extending along the coast.

The two symbols – monuments - of Vieste are: the totemic Pizzomunno, awesome stone linked to an ancient and romantic legend, and the Lighthouse of Vieste, built in the year 1867 on the rock of Sant’Eufemia.

A visit to La Salata, WWF Oasis that was once a Paleo-Christian necropolis, is really a dive into the past. Here, there are worth seeing animal species.
